About Michelle Drum

Michelle is a real estate expert and annually a top-producing agent with a wealth of experience that allows her to consistently help her clients as their local market expert and as their global real estate advisor. She effectively leverages the global reach of Sotheby's with her extensive personal network to connect clients with well-vetted real estate professionals throughout the world. Her background in historic preservation and urban history with degrees from Northwestern and Columbia Universities aligns with her passion for preserving and promoting historic home sales. Michelle's dedication to her community is evident through her involvement in various volunteer roles. She served as Chair of the Newport Historic District Commission for nearly a decade, played an instrumental role in the revitalization of The Historic Hill neighborhood where she still lives, and held prominent positions in the NCBR and the Women's Council of Realtors. Her CRS designation and "Ninja" mindset highlight her ability to adapt and excel in this ever-changing real estate landscape and hone her negotiation skills. As part of her wish to give back, Michelle with her high ethical standards has been asked to mentor new Realtors both in and out of the Sotheby's network. Currently, she serves on the Executive Board of the Redwood Library and Athenaeum as part of her focus on education and culture. Michelle's own residence, a Nationally Registered former Schoolhouse, serves as a testament to her passion for historical properties. In her free time, Michelle reads voraciously-usually biographies, golfs at the Newport National Golf Course, and quality time with her husband Bob, and their beloved greyhound- Athena. At least once a year she travels internationally either with friends or her twin brother Mark Jarzombek to widen her horizons. Michelle brings her trusty Fuji camera along as she is a devoted street photographer.
